Craigmore Farming raises $50m for NZ dairy fund. The New Zealand-based farming and investment group, which owns some 30 farms in New Zealand, revealed the first closure of its second fund, Craigmore Dairy Partnership II, which aims to take its total investment to NZ$350m ($237m) next year.
Craigmore Farming is a specialist manager of farms in New Zealand. Established in 2008 by two NZ family farmers – Forbes Elworthy and Mark Cox – they now have a team managing a mix of dairy, grazing and horticultural farms spread over 15,000 hectares. Their aim is to be a long term producer of high quality food products through farming the land sustainably and by partnering with the best operational managers in New Zealand.
