Kapnick Orchards has been a family owned business since 1958. Located in Britton, Michigan, near Tecumseh, they opened their first farm market in 1961. During the first fifty years, Kapnick Orchards has seen many changes. It was transformed from a one room store to the larger operation of today.
Not only has the size grown, but also so has the product line. The farm grows a large variety of fruits & vegetables, and now features a bakery and cider mill for its guests who make the trip southward. They even make fudge and apple butter on the premises. Fall is a great time at Kapnick Orchards to enjoy u-pick apples and pumpkins, tours, and wagon rides - though the main feature is the annual Apple Festival in October.
